Beginner Rec Program
Our beginner rec program is intended for youth participants with little or no prior rowing experience. This program will teach the basics of both sweep (one oar) and sculling (two oars) rowing in team boats.
This is a great way to try out the sport of rowing and see if it is for you!
After completing the beginner rec program, rowers can progress to intermediate rec, our summer camps, or our competitive program.
We have both weekday and weekend beginner rec programs on offer for spring 2026!

This program is open to participants in 6th-12th grade.
